HTHCV Bruins ATHLETICS
Mission Statement
At High Tech High Chula Vista, we believe athletics is more than just competition—it is a platform for personal growth, teamwork, and integrity. Our program fosters a culture where students develop essential life skills such as communication, leadership, resilience, humility, and focus. Through sports, our athletes learn to navigate challenges, collaborate with others, and build character that extends beyond the game.
At HTHCV, equity is at the heart of our athletics program. We are committed to providing all students with an inclusive and supportive environment where every athlete has the opportunity to succeed. Our teams cultivate a sense of belonging, mutual respect, and collective responsibility, ensuring that each player is valued and empowered.
Our commitment to this mission is reflected in three core principles:
💪🏽
Accountability & Commitment
We follow through on our commitments, showing up prepared to work hard and support our teammates.
💗
Community & Inclusion
We create a culture of camaraderie, where kindness, respect, and inclusivity define our teams.
💯
Integrity & Excellence
We compete with honor, carrying ourselves with self-respect, grace, and the unwavering pursuit of growth.
Together, we are more than athletes—we are a team, a community, and a family.
Together, we are
